Synopsis of Each Play

Cold Reading: Written by Adam Conn and Directed by Shannon Provost
Synopsis: Two actors attempt to audition for a play when one of their silly
quirks lands them in an unexpected predicament.


oRange: Written by Erin Osgood and Directed by Rachel Cieslik
Synopsis:  Going against the norm is never easy. It only takes one. 

Ruth:
Written by Thomas Piccin and Directed by Adam Conn
Synopsis: As Ruth’s health declines and her dementia worsens, she and her
daughter Sarah struggle to maintain a connection. They each try to make the other
understand what’s really important in life.


 The Long Proposal: Written by Scott Tobin and Directed by Carolyn Mitchell
Synopsis: As Erik stumbles through his meticulously written proposal to Daphne,
he learns that the way to win a person’s heart is to be yourself. 


Blake and the Moose:
Written by Jack Wohl and Directed by Bob Amici
Synopsis:  The wacky on-air antics of a radio personality are found to
have greater meaning than even his partner had realized.  


Acting on Impulse:
Written by Margie Semilof and Directed by Chelsea Reyes
Synopsis: In the final minutes of a flight, Amy’s nervous chatter with her
seat mates turns into a self-analysis of her life, with no escape for those within earshot. 


I Don't Care:
Written by Stuart Brown and Directed by Meghan Trask
Synopsis: John Goldsmith is attempting to have his yearly physical but is
faced with one difficulty after another. And he hasn’t even been able to get by the receptionist. 


A Flicker:
Written by Guy Newsham and Directed by Lexi Rock
Synopsis:  As two neighbors argue over a flickering streetlight, it becomes clear
that the light holds more significance than one would assume.  

Safari:
Written by Rishi Chowdhary and Directed by Laurel Martin 
Synopsis:  Two extraterrestrials embark on a Human Kingdom tour which allows them to
observe humans in the wild without being seen. When an unexpected glitch occurs, the
two extraterrestrials get a closer look at the human experience than they ever expected. 


Don't Say Anything: Written by Carolyn Mitchell and Directed by Kathleen Sills
Synopsis:  
Three siblings gather following the death of their mother, while also
deciding how to honor the wishes of their father, regarding her ashes.
