Bruce C. Browne is a director, actor, playwright, and professor. At the University of Wisconsin Colleges, he taught theatre and film, and directed 40 productions, including Quilters, Death and the Maiden, Noises Off, All in the Timing, True West, and As Is.
Recently in Albany, NY, he directed The Price by Arthur Miller, Family Furniture by A. R. Gurney, and Hollywood Confidential by V. Cate and Duke Ernsberger at Curtain Call Theatre; Beast on the Moon by Richard Kalinoski for Theatre Voices, and One Weird Trick for Plays in Progress in Hudson, NY.
Playscripts he has written include Shrapnel in the Heart and Portrait of a Prairie Place.
In other media, Bruce hosted Daybreak on WFCR in Amherst, Massachusetts; he also owned Landour Productions, a video production company.
Bruce has lived in India, Iran, and Qatar, and has taught at the University of Wisconsin, Qatar Community College, Doha Film Institute, Northwestern-Qatar, Siena College, and the University at Albany.
